HYDROGEN APPLICATIONS

In accordance with the technological trend of development of the automotive industry, in the coming years we will see an effective widespread use of electric fuel-cell vehicles powered by hydrogen.

The two H2 development areas that OMB Saleri has focused on are:

OTV 700 bar
OMB has developed a full range of products such as a tank valves (OTV), fuel receptacles (HFR), check valves (HCR) and thermal safety valves (PRD) for Hydrogen applications at 700 bar.
OMB was able to overcome the major technological challenges, succeeding in ensuring the highest performances such as sealing at low temperatures and fulfill the most severe OEM’s endurance tests.
The application target is the automotive field, especially passengers and heavy-duty vehicles.

ITVR 350 bar
OMB has developed a dedicated range of 350 bar valves for hydrogen applications such as: an automatic tank valve (ITVR) with integrated pressure regulators, fuel receptacles and check-valves.
The valves can be utilized for most off-road applications (material handling FC, storage and transport) and automotive applications (buses and passenger vehicles). The full range of products are developed in compliance with the major international Standards and Regulations such as UL 2267, IEC 62282, HGV 3.1 and EC 79/2009.
